This position offers the opportunity to be part of a project team consisting of professional engineers, project engineers and designers who are involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing utility systems The candidate would also support our municipal related designs as well as our growing portfolio of land development projects, including electric vehicle charging stations, commercial and utility-scale solar, electric substation, battery energy storage sites and utility-related civil site work. Better outcomes are achieved when we bring our authentic selves to work daily.Our sights are set on the future, and we invite you to rise to the challenge.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Lead and work with a team to identify all project risks and develop mitigation strategiesPrepare budgets, bids, contracts, funding requests, and communication plansManage, supervise, and schedule execution of projectsMonitor projects' productivity, quality, and progressDevelop and maintain external client relationships.Ensure project safety and remain within projects' cost constraintsLead, support and direct project managers, and assistants in planning, scheduling, and implementation of designs and testingLead a project team consisting of project engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design of linear utility and land development projects, including plan and specification preparation, stormwater management calculations as well as client and jurisdictional stakeholder coordination Mentor engineers and designers.Negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants and clientsManage, develop, and evaluate resources within the project teamLead Safety initiatives as needed by the organizationManage, monitor, and maintain contracts related to projectsManage financials and metrics related to projectsTravel Required as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industryProfessional Engineering license requiredTechnical expertise related to managing projects in the public right-of-way in our industryTechnical expertise related to managing site development projects Previous engineering, design or construction management experienceExperience with site civil grading and stormwater design Experience with roadway and infrastructure design Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or Bentley design softwareExperience obtaining approvals from jurisdictional authoritiesPreferred SkillsAbility to adhere to strict safety regulationsAbility to implement and maintain policiesStrong technical writing abilityAbility to work under time-sensitive deadlinesProficient in MS Office productsPay range: $95,000.00 to $140,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience.The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location.
