Medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, Paid Time Off, strong safety culture, excellent leadership, and much more!Shift: Sunday-Friday, (off Tuesday or Wednesday, and Saturday) Start at 1:30PM - Until Finish US Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and a history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and continuous improvement focus.Main Ingredients of the JobConduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.Physical RequirementsComfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees requiredWhat You Bring to the TableMust be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if neededHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredA minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.Able to work 10+ hour night shifts. At times weekends and holidays will be requiredMust be pallet jack certified; Good attention to detail; Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
