Collision Correction Equipment is a local Supplier, Installer and Servicer of Industrial Equipment, primarily for Auto-Body shops and other aftermarket Automotive work. We supply body shops, car dealerships, and other similar local businesses primarily with Paint Booth and Welding Equipment.We are looking for a Service Technician or two to join our team. We are flexible on what this could look like - part time or full time, 4 days a week or 5 days per week. There will possibly be some sporadic local travel - an overnight hotel stay here and there, as we complete work throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.This will be a very independent position - your days will be spent on the road in a company vehicle, visiting our many customers' various shops, to service their equipment. Again, Welding Equipment and Automotive Painting Booth equipment are the two main categories of we deal with, so any experience with either of those is a huge plus and a great foundation for taking on this role.We need someone experienced with, comfortable in, and excited to do things like: Preventative Maintenance Oil Changes Filter Changes Multi Point Inspections/Equipment Check Ups Troubleshooting Electrical Controls - Relays, Circuits, PLCs, Schematics Power Supply - 110V, 240V, Three-Phase, High Voltage Blowers, Fans, Motors Airflow/Air Movement analysis Heating Elements - Burners, Gas pressure/supply lines Compressed Air Lines, Drain Lines General Service Work Removal of parts that are causing issues Installing new parts As far as the physical demands of the job go: You'll need to be pretty physically capable Able to lift heavy parts (50-60 lbs) Crawl into tight spaces Willing to get dirty Go up on ladders or man-lifts as needed. However, you won't be out in the elements much, as this is primarily interior work in climate regulated spaces. You won't be dealing with rain, snow, cold - though the shops we work in can be pretty hot come summer time.We will provide plenty of tools in the van. You'll probably end up using some of your own tools too of course, as these things usually go.This role will mostly be working between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. We expect most weeks to be about 40 hours on the clock, but are open to a part time arrangement if that is more workable for the right person. We're expecting to pay somewhere around $35-45/hour, but open to a conversation around that as well. We can start someone right away.Anyone seriously interested in this role will be subject to an extensive background check, driving record check, and drug test. We are open to employing anyone with a previous record, but you must have a clean enough driving record to be insurable by company auto insurance - typically this means at least 5-7 years with NO driving related felonies or even serious infractions.
