This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!Senior Tooling Technician SummaryDirect Hire/Full TimeDay Shift: Mon-FriPay: Up to $44.47/hour.Relocation AssistanceBenefits: Full Benefits/Vacation (Benefits Eligibility on 1st Day of Employment)401K: 6% Match, Company sponsored continuing education.Modify molds, dies, and tooling components using precision machining techniques. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop tooling solutions for plastics manufacturing processes. Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance on molds, dies, and tools to optimize performance and extend their lifespan. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with molds and tools and implement effective repair solutions. Conduct repairs, adjustments, and modifications to molds and tools to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime. Senior Tooling Technician QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or education preferred). Strong tooling background to include experience in close tolerance grinding, lathes, and mills. Proficient in using precision machining equipment and tools. Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills. Proficient in repairing molds, dies, and tools. Process knowledge (including electronic). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with hot runner systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Why Zing?
