You'll lead by example, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your ability to train, mentor, and inspire a team will drive results and enhance overall operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership: Ensure all team members are trained in safety protocols, conduct daily safety checks, and drive compliance with safety standards.Team Building & Development: Recruit and train a cohesive team, cross-train employees, and sustain a high-performing workforce aligned with company goals.Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean principles to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes while empowering team members to contribute ideas.Operational Excellence: Collaborate with other shifts and departments like Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Shipping to resolve production issues and enhance processes.Performance Tracking: Collect and report data on safety, quality, and delivery metrics, working closely with the Operations Manager to achieve plant goals.Leadership & Communication: Clearly communicate expectations and provide feedback to ensure alignment with safety, quality, productivity, and behavioral standards.Administrative Duties: Oversee scheduling, staffing, morale, and adherence to company policies while ensuring tools and resources are available for production.Ideal Candidates HaveMust have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
