You will lead as a field supervisor, overseeing foremen, laborers, and craft workers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications, managing costs, work methods, and scheduling. Your ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site staff will be key to achieving project execution excellence.District OverviewKiewit's Southeast District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include building bridges, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, pump stations or tunnels. Although most of our work is regionally based in the southeast region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the east coast. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry instead of design.LocationGreenville & Pineland, SCResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Provide mentorship and support to junior superintendentsReview and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborersManage contract administration and communication with subcontractorsDevelop and maintain positive client relationshipsAttend client meetings for planning and issue resolutionApprove job cost updates and cash flow projectionsNegotiate change orders and project completion plansMaintain records and daily diaryConduct timely performance evaluations for direct reportsRecommend organizational or staff changesApprove or reject promotions up to General ForemenQualifications8+ years' construction experience with 3+ years being in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity (preferably working on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, water/wastewater treatment plants etc.) Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit's policies, procedures and software programs. Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise. Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong experience in Leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
