Accounting Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in cash reconciliations, standard operating procedures (SOPs) documentation, and QuickBooks. This contract position offers the potential for conversion to a permanent role. You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of cash reconciliations, and improving internal accounting processes.Key Responsibilities:Lead the cash reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations across multiple accounts.Review and maintain the integrity of financial records, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes.Prepare and review financial reports to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing insights into cash flow and financial performance.Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage accounting transactions, ensuring the system is up-to-date and accurate.Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and streamline accounting processes.Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth financial operations.Assist in internal and external audits as required.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on cash reconciliations and SOP documentation.Extensive experience using QuickBooks for accounting and financial reporting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
