Civil Senior DesignerDuties:Perform design from concept to implementationPerform research to back up designPerform engineering documentationPerform other items as directed by a senior engineer or discipline leadResponsibilities:Ensure project documents are accurately preparedHave extensive knowledge of common software programsUtilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and related software programs to perform routine duties.Organizing and maintaining existing engineering recordsEnsure design components adhere to applicable industry standardsEnsure work product is checked/approved by a senior engineer or discipline leadEnsure work product meets project requirementsEnsure work is completed on or before scheduled milestones including coordination and approvalsEnsure work is completed within assigned budgetsAttention to detailMentoring designers and draftersRelay apparent training needs to department manager Qualifications:Requires 5+ years of experience as a Civil Designer or related position.
