This process is slow, expensive, and yields imperfect models. However, it is so entrenched that there are multiple billion dollar "technology" companies for labeling that are effectively labor outsourcing providers. This is crazy!At Breakpoint, we're using the latest in generative AI to build a better way, no labelers or engineers needed. We are building a generative data engine that can automatically detect model failures and generate labeled training data to fix them, without any human involvement. We believe that self-improving models like this are the key to solving computer vision.We have a world class team with PhDs in AI from Berkeley and Princeton, and experience at most of the major tech companies (Google Brain, Facebook AI, Amazon, etc.). Our founder, Jamie Murdoch, is a Berkeley PhD with 3k citations, who previously co-founded and sold a financial AI startup.
