We are searching for a Sr. Allocation & Replenishment Planner to drive the creation, management and execution of allocation and replenishment strategies that support the merchandising, visual and inventory initiatives for our client's retail stores. In addition, the Sr Allocation & Replenishment Planner, Mentors and coaches Planners, Associate Planners and manages any direct reports, develops and partners to manage processes and system evolution as company growth and objectives are realized, executes strategic initiatives, both individually and cross-functionally, functions as a leader, both within the Inventory team and with cross-functional partners, embraces, leads and promotes process improvements, change management and Leads the analysis of data to identify risks and opportunities.This is an onsite role Mon-Thurs with the option to work from home on Fridays.What You'll DoDevelops and implements allocation and replenishment strategies for assigned merchandise categories across all retail locationsManages flow of inventory throughout the product life cycle from the initial allocation through to the daily replenishment review processCreates and executes new store opening assortment allocations based on store specific sales plans and capacity requirementsAnalyzes and identifies selling trends, acting to maximize selling potential and minimize risk to inventory objectives and profitabilityResponsible for creation and maintenance of weekly and ad hoc reports to analyze and react to store level inventory needsIdentifies and implements strategies to support inventory levels for key promotional and peak selling periodsMonitors late product and communicates impact to floorset to Visual, Inventory and Store partnersManages end of season transfer process including quantifying transfer proposals and communication to storesEvaluate and maximize system capabilities to further enhance allocation/replenishment tools and effectivenessDevelops and fosters strong cross functional partnerships with the Merchandise Planners, Merchandise Managers, Visual, and DC - Retail OperationsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree and 5 years of allocation/replenishment experienceFinancial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; requires proficiency in retail mathProblem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems and recommend effective solutions, including allocation/replenishment strategiesInfluencing & Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions at all levels of the organization that lead and influence others to actionSystems and tools Acumen: Proven strong Allocation/Replenishment systems knowledge (such as: Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, JDA) and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsCollaborations: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional partnersProject management skills: Ability to balance forward looking and day to day, along with leading projects and change managementLeadership Skills: Ability to guide team to actionPossess strong organizational and time management skills, along with strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to clearly and concisely identify and summarize complex problems or issues, identify, implement and hindsight solutionsHigh level of analytical thinking and attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and follow through skillsCompensation Range: $82,500 to $100,000/year
