Project Manager - Electrical ConstructionPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic and growing team within the electrical construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing mid- to large-scale electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with WTP/WWTP, Utility Scale Solar, or Data Center projects and a strong track record in leading successful project teams.Responsibilities:Manage and execute projects ranging from $5M to $25M, with a focus on electrical construction.Take leadership of project execution in collaboration with superintendents, from start to finish.Use project management systems to plan, execute, and track projects.Conduct pre-planning meetings and optimize resources for cost-effective project buyouts.Oversee project teams, ensuring smooth communication, collaboration, and alignment with goals.Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Manage project financials, including costs, billings, and collections to ensure profitability and maintain positive client relationships.Handle risk management and make informed, timely decisions to mitigate potential issues.Actively pursue additional work through change orders and maintain strong client relationships.Ensure safety policies and goals are effectively communicated and followed.Mentor assistant project managers and provide guidance to ensure continuous professional growth.Maintain strong internal partnerships and align with company values and goals.Requirements:5+ years of experience in project management within the electrical construction industry.A 2-year associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent construction experience.Willingness to travel, including job sites within the Twin Cities metro and up to 50% outstate.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.A deep understanding of construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and other project management software.Must possess or be willing to obtain OSHA-30 certification within six months.Working Conditions:This role requires a mix of office, job site, and customer site work.Physical activity including standing, sitting, climbing ladders, and walking on uneven surfaces is expected.Exposure to job site elements such as noise, dirt, and weather conditions is a common part of the role.If you are an experienced Project Manager with a passion for electrical construction and project execution, apply today to become part of a growing team that values safety, professionalism, and quality service.
