Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 poundsFrequent exposure to the elementsResponsibilitiesPerform minor and major repairs on gas and diesel engines, complex hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains to include manual and power shift transmissions on equipment and trucksAssist in training new mechanics, as requested by supervisorTroubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipmentPerform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW)Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specificationsPerform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricatingMaintain all decals, safety warnings and company ID stickers.Prepare/maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipmentMaintain accurate warranty recordsComplete accurate parts ordersNotify Branch Manager or designee of damaged equipment or warranty situations prior to initiating repairMaintain company equipment - keep in clean, orderly conditionMaintain work area and equipmentAccurately manage inventoryMaintain a safe working environmentAttend technical classes to ensure compliance with standardsMay perform other duties as assigned#GULFBe YOU at SunstateAt Sunstate Equipment, we are actively fostering a workplace culture where individuals of all identities and life experiences feel genuinely valued, respected, and appreciated.
