Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team, with expertise in preparing federal and state corporate tax returns, providing thoughtful analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of tax filings. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, a deep attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a small team. Experience with Corptax software is strongly preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with SAP and Analysis for Office.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review federal and state corporate tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Perform basic analysis of income tax provisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information and resolve issues in a timely manner.Utilize Corptax software (Compliance, Provision, and Corptax Office modules) to streamline tax return preparation and reporting.Maintain organized and accurate records to ensure efficient multi-tasking and deadline management.Provide tax-related support and advice to the organization and assist in problem-solving as necessary.Continuously review and enhance processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting.Communicate tax-related matters clearly, both in writing and verbally, to internal teams and management.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a focus on corporate tax.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience with Corptax software is preferred but not required (Compliance, Provision, and Corptax Office modules).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with SAP and Analysis for Office is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment and adapt quickly to new tasks.CPA or Master of Taxation is preferred, but not required.Knowledge of mutual funds or experience in the investment management industry is a plus, but not required.Work Environment:Hybrid work schedule, with a requirement for 3 days per week in-office presence.Job Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceVision insurance
