SEG's Concrete Foreman is responsible for leading and directing the efforts of concrete crews to perform projects at a variety of customer sites. The Concrete Foreman will oversee and direct their crew to perform a wide range of physically demanding tasks. Concrete Foremen are working foremen and work alongside the crews to complete work in a safe manner which meets or exceeds the quality standards expected by the customer. SEG's Concrete Foreman must have the ability to oversee, lead and direct the work of other craft personnel to meet production deadlines, ensure high quality, work safely and keep a clean work site. The Concrete Foreman reports to either an SEG Superintendent or Field Operations Manager.Essential Functions Of Concrete ForemanMust have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry and/or push and pull up to 50-pound loads at a time. Must be able to work in a variety of inclement weather conditions, including heat and humidity and tolerate exposure to dust and noise. Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day. Must have the manual dexterity required to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Ability to use physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance to complete job tasks on time, safely and in a quality manner..Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures that all tasks are done in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.Trains and manages a crew of production employees.Oversees the daily workflow, assignments, and production operations.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to crew.Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.Troubleshoots issues that arise.Ensures all employees always wear personal protective equipment and comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include digging trenches, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.General duties performed include concrete demolition, concrete patching, crack injections, epoxy coating, as well as sealing and caulking. Proficiently use hand power tools and equipment as requiredPossess good knowledge of concrete restoration material such as SIKA productsReports any issues to supervisor or direct managerReports equipment in need of repair to supervisor.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationBe able to pass criminal background check 2-5 years' experience in leading a concrete crewPrior work experience in concrete restoration preferred.Must have valid driver license and excellent driving record.Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.BenefitsBase Wage Bonus401(k) with company matchMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term and Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off Continuing Education Assistance Work EnvironmentThe role involves working on construction sites, in offices, and traveling to different project locations.
