For more information on Stanley Consultants, please visit Consultants is seeking a Senior Water/wastewater Engineer for one of our following offices: Cedar Rapids IA, Des Moines IA, Iowa City IA, or Muscatine IA. In this role, you will lead and deliver water, wastewater, and groundwater projects in the State of Iowa. This individual will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and services during construction.The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will have expertise in one or more of the following:Water distribution, transmission, and storageWater treatmentWastewater conveyance and peak weather flow infrastructureWastewater treatmentWater ReusePump StationsHydraulic modelingAsset managementRisk and resiliency consulting and designSmart water system planning, design, and implementationWhat You Will Be Doing:Lead the team for delivery of water and wastewater projectsProvide guidance and career advice for water and wastewater staff in the Iowa officesAssist in marketing business opportunities with key clients, including capture planning, proposal preparation, and interview preparation and participationParticipate in local water and wastewater professional organizations and preparing, coordinating, and presenting market specific papers and presentationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Environmental EngineeringAt least 7+ years of relevant water/wastewater engineering experienceAt least 5+ years of experience at the project manager levelIowa Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireTechnical management of water/wastewater project delivery experienceExperience with the development and maintenance of close client and staff relationshipsAbility to execute the creative approaches to project deliveryPreferred Qualifications:Master of Science (MS)Membership in AWWA; WEFStanley's Approach to FlexibilityWhile some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home.
