About the jobThe ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decisions makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.ResponsibilitiesInitiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clientsProspect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold-callingManage accounts to retain existing relationshipsSucceed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriersQualificationsPrevious transportation brokerage/sales experience is a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.Proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer serviceProficiency with MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management or web based software programsAbility to execute a vision, manages multiple priorities, and achieves resultsOutgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")Employer-providedLocated in Columbia, South CarolinaSalary$40,000Featured benefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)
