This role requires a hybrid work model, with three days a week dedicated to in-office collaboration or meeting agents in the Boise/Meridian area. Responsibilities include: Risk Evaluation: Perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess new and renewal accounts, ensuring sound underwriting decisions Business Management: Oversee a portfolio of accounts, driving premium growth, retention, and profitability while adhering to company underwriting guidelines Sales & Agent Collaboration: Partner with the Sales and Distribution team to cultivate strong agent relationships and expand market opportunities; Conduct in-person sales meetings and stewardship visits to develop pipelines and secure additional business Agency Relationships: Foster trust and collaboration with agency partners to align on growth strategies and achieve mutual objectives Account Coordination: Collaborate with claims, safety, and premium audit teams to provide tailored services for large and complex accounts Brand Building: Act as a key representative of our company, strengthening the brand through exceptional service and relationship-building effortsRequirements Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred Certifications: CPCU, ARM, CIC, or similar certifications are highly desirable Minimum of 5 years in multiline commercial underwriting, with a focus on workers' compensation, liability, and casualty Proven track record of successfully managing and growing complex policies, including accounts up to $1 million in premium Strong familiarity with state/NCCI workers' compensation guidelines, rating elements, and industry standards Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, both written and verbal Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive sales, develop pipelines, and build long-term agency relationshipsWhy Join Us?
