This role offers the flexibility of remote work, but requires the candidate to be based in Minneapolis or St. Paul, Minnesota, with travel within their territory.Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience in the construction industry, a deep understanding of the technical applications of insulation, and proven experience in leading a team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to drive growth and innovation within a company that values a family-oriented, people-first culture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage budgets for the insulation segment and department operations.Lead and manage insulation teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.Develop and implement the segment's yearly business plan.Partner with the Business Development (BD) team to identify opportunities and close new business.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top vendors, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.Develop and implement pricing strategies, provide direction on stocking strategies, and update the team on industry trends.Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of insulation meets company and industry standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing, sales, or a related field.7+ years of experience in the oil and gas or technical insulation space.3+ years of experience managing a team.Extensive experience in the technical application of insulation (technical insulation, mechanical insulation, or industrial gas).BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.401k plan.Paid time off.Personal development support.And more!If you are a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background in insulation and a desire to excel in the construction supply chain industry, we encourage you to apply today.
