Job DescriptionCommercial Insurance Department ManagerOverviewAn established agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a Commercial Insurance Department Manager. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to the commercial insurance department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional client service.ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the commercial insurance departmentManage and develop a team of commercial lines professionalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriersCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of servicesDevelop and implement strategies to drive departmental growth and profitabilityMonitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactive adaptationQualificationsProven experience in commercial insurance and risk managementStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry standardsProficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office SuiteBachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Active P&C insurance licenseRelevant industry certifications (e.g. CIC, CRM, CPCU) are a plusCompensation PackageCompensation: Between $85k-$130k (based on experience).Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.Disclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role, and it is subject to modification at the employer's discretion.
