Tax Director

Our tax team continues to grow and we are on the hunt for a collaborative and technical tax resource to join our team at our Global HQ, in Boston. We are currently working in a "hybrid" capacity allowing plenty of time for working from home, while also paired with team meetings, catchup sessions, mentoring and general team building while on-site.In this position the Tax Director will manage the preparation of the quarterly and year-end tax provisions while overseeing all tax strategy for the organization. You will be responsible for preparing company's forms and filings.Responsibilities:Manage the preparation of tax provisions under ASC 740, including preparation of the tax footnote disclosureOversight of all Tax strategy and planningReturn to provision reconciliationConsult and advise on significant transactions and provide timely business support and analysisAssist with financial statement audits and tax auditsResearch tax accounting issues and prepare memosMaintain tax provision softwareResearch tax issues and provide recommendationsWork with external auditors and tax providersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingMaster's degree in Tax or Accounting and / or CPA6+ years, with public accounting experienceExcellent analytical skillsKnowledge and experience in Excel and tax provision software such as CorptaxStrong communication skills (verbal and written)
