Vice President M&A Advisory

Title / RoleVice President Location New York City CompanyM&A Advisory Firm - focused on advising private market investment companies: private equity; private credit; real estate; infrastructure and related firms. ExperienceEffectiveness in the position requires several years of experience engaging with clients and leading associate and analyst teams to run M&A advisory processes. This is a management role drawing from technical expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, and other analytical skills to lead client discussions as well as train and develop junior professionals. There are accelerated responsibilities and advancement opportunities for candidates with direct experience advising private markets investment firms. Key Responsibilities·      Interface with clients and counter-parties while managing a team of analysts and associates to lead M&A advisory projects in all respects, with limited direction from a Principal or Partner·      Develop and participate in the delivery of pitch presentations to prospective clients·      Negotiate client engagement letters·      Develop and present target lists and oversee the creation of target profiles·      Oversee the production of CIM presentations and other evaluation materials·      Direct the development of, then present, client / target valuation or operating models·      Guide the team to structure key elements of process letters·      Lead buyer-seller management meetings·      Run and present transaction models: accretion/dilution; IRR; NPV; yield; payback, etc.·      Facilitate follow up Q&A·      Create bid analysis summaries·      Structure and negotiate term sheets·      Coordinate due diligence·      Infrastructure support: The Vice President will also manage analysts who maintain comparable deal databases; public company statistics and other analytical support. MindsetThis is a new firm led by highly experienced partners. The right candidate will have an interest in developing the key analytical tools and processes used as the firm continues to establish itself. There is substantial upside in development and career advancement opportunities for dedicated professionals. CultureWe believe in dedication to successful client outcomes, with merit-oriented rewards, in a fun, collaborative environment. We intend to recruit and develop people seeking professional and personal growth.
