Job DescriptionA&P (Airframe and Powerplant) TechnicianSalary: $35/hour+ (depending on experience)Location: Dallas, TX 75235Industry: AviationShifts: Various Shifts Available; 1st shift is M-F, 6am-2:30pmQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required. Minimum 5 years general aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated experience. Experience on Corporate jets preferredAbility to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings. MUST own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools. Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status. Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidaysAbility to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideAbility to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as requiredPossess basic PC skillsJob Duties: Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft. Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredAdhere to Client General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hangar positionsComply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities.
