Sodexo is seeking an innovative Resident District Manager (Sr Food Service General Manager) for a potential new client in University Dining in the greater Detroit metro area. This is an opportunity to leverage your experience to take the next step in your career. We are seeking an experienced Campus Dining General Manager with strong strategic leadership, financial acumen, talent management, and strong communication and project management skills. What You'll Do: This Resident District Manager will:Work with clients and regional leadership in all matters relating to contract, account operations and budget to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account growth and account retention;Have oversight of day-to-day operations;Achieve company and client financial targets and goals; Work both horizontally and vertically within both organizations and have outstanding presentation skills;Manage a large food service operation in a contract management environment; andEnsure employee engagement through development and training of the management team, as well as hourly frontline employees. What You Bring: Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who: Have a proven track record of Food Service General Management in a high volume, high profile University dining operation - bringing Innovation and Solutioning to daily operations;Demonstrate strong Client and Employee Engagement leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively; Demonstrate strong Financial Acumen with a working knowledge of financial management software, food management systems, Kronos or similar time management programs; and. Have working knowledge of Sodexo systems including The Market Connection (TMC) or other purchasing platforms, Financial Software including E=Vision and possesses proficient computer skills and report management experience.
