Our Technicians work closely with multiple engineering groups at Symbotic's Integrated Test Center to operate and maintain the test systems for our automated warehouse solution. The Senior System Test Technician will support several test initiatives concurrently to ensure that Symbotic delivers a production-ready system and achieves major company milestones. What we do The Senior Test Engineering team is part of the Hardware Engineering organization, which is responsible for the Mechanical, Structural, and Electrical Engineering of the Symbot and the Structure, System Layout, and Electrical Distribution Systems. What you'll do Responsible for system maintenance and mobile robot repairs. Assist with operation and debugging Symbotic automated warehouse test system. Help with setup and execution of test cases using Test Rail, JIRA and SharePoint. Ensure daily safety compliance with OSHA and Symbotic processes and procedures. Run and debug PLC-based or other automation equipment via HMI command line interface. Navigation of both Linux and Windows access system software and collect log files. Up to 20% of travel may be required to support customer sites What you'll need Minimum 7 years of experience with technical degree preferred Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Windows, Linux Basic networking skills such as locating IP /MAC addresses, SSH into machines, etc. Willing to work a flexible rotating work schedule including off shift and weekends Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Our EnvironmentUp to 20% of travel may be required.
