  Maintenance TechnicianOffering Hope, Health and Healing  Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix is seeking caring and compassionate people to join our team of devoted healthcare professionals.   Shifts: PRN Day ShiftAbout Haven  Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix is a 58-bed acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health issues.   Why HavenA small family like environment where focus is on patient outcomes Dedicated, passionate leaders who are hands-on and accessible. The opportunity to make a difference in our patient's lives every day. POSITION SUMMARY:* Provide preventative maintenance functions.* Repairs involving plumbing components/systems, electrical, drywall and painting, HVAC systems, furnishings, and equipment.* Maintain and repair equipment following department safety practices.* Maintain facility equipment in accordance with department policies and procedures and manufacturers' recommendations to ensure safe operating conditions. Perform electrical safety inspection on new equipment and tag appropriately.* Follow department procedures and take appropriate precautions to maintain employee and patient safety during work activities.* Consult with department management in advance of performing any maintenance tasks that could disrupt the provision of service to patients.* Conduct specified inspections/servicing as required to comply with all Life Safety Code and Joint Commission requirements.WEIGHT LIFTED/CARRIED:* Up to 75 poundsEDUCATION:  * High School Diploma    EXPERIENCE:  * Skills and employment experience in the following areas: drywall repairs and/or installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance/repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs, appliance, furnishings and basic equipment maintenance & repairs.  Haven Behavioral Healthcare is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
