Role: Db2 DBA Location: Denver, CO Job Summary We are seeking an expert Infra. Technology Specialist with demonstrated ability in DB2 System administration and a proven background in Cards & Payments domain. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to the stability and efficiency of our infrastructure. This role does not require travel. Required skills: Db2 DB Administration, Manage MQ Replication, DB Upgrade/Migration, Patching, BAU Activities. Responsibilities Be responsible for the administration and maintenance of DB2 systems to ensure efficient performance and reliability. Provide technical expertise in the Cards & Payments domain to support business operations. Implement and lead database security measures to protect sensitive data. Monitor system performance and solve issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to craft and implement infrastructure solutions. Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures. Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead efforts to optimize database performance and scalability. Provide support for database-related incidents and service requests. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on standard processes. Qualifications Possess extensive experience in DB2 System administration ensuring robust database management. Demonstrate solid understanding of the Cards & Payments domain supporting relevant business processes. Exhibit proficiency in database security measures to safeguard critical information. Show expertise in performance monitoring and issue resolution to maintain system uptime. Have experience in collaborating with diverse teams to achieve infrastructure goals. Maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and procedures. Conduct detailed system audits to improve performance and compliance. Optimize database operations for improved efficiency and scalability. Provide effective support for database incidents and service requests. Engage in disaster recovery planning to ensure data protection. Stay informed about industry advancements to drive continuous improvement. Mentor and guide junior team members in standard processes and technical skills. Certifications Required: IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 Certified Payments Professional (CPP) Applications will be accepted until 21Jan 2025 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $[90,000 - 105,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
