Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting AV technologies. Services include, video conferencing, Biamp, TVs, cameras, codecs/soft codecs, projectors, screens, cabling, wireless screen sharing and digital signage. Primary responsibilities include solid to advanced working knowledge of Cisco/Logitech/Polycom/MS Teams video endpoints, codecs, cabling schematics, and third-party conferencing solutions using soft codecs. UC Advanced AV Engineers are accountable for room design, creating and maintaining end-user room profiles, standardizing equipment, and maintaining an accurate inventory database. The candidate must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects. Advanced AV engineers are expected to lead new AV builds from design, quoting process, installation coordination, end-user training and documentation. Must have advanced troubleshooting skills and be able to quickly develop solutions and/or workarounds when resolving issues. Candidates should be experienced with Cisco Control Hub, MS Teams Administration and Zoom conferencing platforms. All AV engineers must provide excellent white glove service, training and support to scheduled meetings as needed. UC AV Engineers should have strong customer relation skills and ability to remain calm and polite when resolving issues.What You'll DoMeet with internal customers, document write-ups for new AV rooms, obtain quotes from AV integrators, manage timelines, coordinate installs, test all installed hardware, update project tracker and train end-usersMaintain database including documentation for all hardware, software, manufacturer technical support, and current resale vendorsManage A/V systems integration with network components (wired and wireless) and collaboration systems (Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom etc.)Responsible for all modification to in-room control systems and components within the rooms. As well as implement audio and video configuration and equipment for conference rooms as designedPerform regularly scheduled operational and preventive maintenance checks for all Audio-Visual systems and conference rooms. Perform upgrades and repair of all Audio/Visual/Control systems and provide technical support and training on A/V topics to customers as neededAssist with recommendations of electronic systems improvements and enhancements for audio visual systems as well as troubleshoot and install Audio and Videoconferencing systemsInterface with manufacturers, developers, engineers, and project managers to provide resolutions for basic conferencing systems and to provide support and maintenance of audio-visual equipment.
