We create fulfilling purpose-driven careers by learning from the world and each other.POSITION TITLELead Administrative Assistant, Communications (B4)POSITION LOCATIONThis position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, VA hybrid/in-office applicants.YOUR ROLEWe are looking for a Lead Administrative Assistant to support the SVP of Brand, Communications, and Transformation and the VP of Total Rewards, along with their teams. Strong candidates will bring exceptional communication skills, a customer-centric orientation, strong technical aptitude, proven attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Note: This role will report to the SVP of Brand, Communications and Transformation.What you will be doingProfessionally manage incoming requests for executives from internal and external customersMaintain calendars of two executivesEnhance productivity by organizing schedules, agendas, and pre-read materials for key meetingsCoordinate meetings and events; schedule and manage logistics for meetings, offsite events, and other activitiesManage expense reports for two executives in compliance with organizational policiesSet-up and manage Purchase Requisitions & POs, pay subscriptions/memberships (e.g., professional dues) and other administrative process-related itemsArrange travel for executives including airfare, hotel, expense reimbursement, etc.Prepare PowerPoint presentations in compliance with business requirementsExhibit superior customer service by responding to emails and voicemails promptly and comprehensivelyProvide administrative back-up for other administrative assistants as neededCollaborate with other administrative assistants to effectively manage calendars and provide back-up, when neededAssist with onboarding new associates/contractorsOther duties as assigned What You BringHigh School Diploma5+ years of experience as a senior administrative assistant to executivesAbility to effectively process a large amount of information daily with the capability to spot important topics and make connections between disparate itemsMust filter information with a keen judgment of relevancy and urgency and often provide high-level summaries of critical information to executivesExceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with an emphasis on follow-through and attention to detailStrong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft 365 appsExceptional communication skills, confidence and professional presenceHighest level of integrity and the ability to ensure security of confidential informationProactive, proven good judgment and creative problem-solving skillsStrong written communication and proof-reading skillsAbility to work independently and be a team playerStrong interpersonal skillsStrong interest in learning new tasksFlexibility within a changing environmentEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in people's lives every day.
