Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sr. Technical Project Manager Location: Richmond, Virginia (Onsite 1 day week) Pay Range: Not specified What's the Job? Manage and coordinate all aspects of multi-faceted, multi-phase IT projects. Utilize modern project management tools and techniques to ensure project success. Communicate effectively through multiple channels, including documentation, presentations, and training for diverse audiences. Leverage prior experience in a technical hands-on role to guide project execution. Develop strategic roadmaps and oversee technical transitions within the organization. PMP certification What's Needed? Demonstrated excellence in project management with a focus on IT. Certification in modern project management practices. Experience in technical business analysis, including requirements gathering. Comfort with the software development lifecycle and IT areas such as Cloud and Web Architecture.
