Location: Gainesville - Gainesville, GA, United States (US) Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time Function: Maintenance Pay Range: ($49,427.00 - $74,140.00) Target Bonus: % Req ID: 25540 Summary of Position Responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all production/facility equipment and performing related project work. Completes weekly maintenance schedule and makes safe, quality and timely repairs to ensure weekly production schedule is completed. This position requires a high regard for safety at all times. Key Deliverables Works safely and supports safety within the facility Correctly repaired and maintained plant equipment General maintenance of facilities (electrical, HVAC, plumbing). Coordination with outside vendors for contract repairs of facility equipment where specific technical expertise is required. Key Accountability Metrics Safety metrics Production schedule completion percentage Work order completion percentage PMs (preventive maintenance) completion percentage Breakdown man hour utilization percentage Production OEE (overall equipment effectivity) EBITB results from Continuous Improvement Project completion Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Include the following and other duties may be assigned. Safety Training, Team Meetings & Lean concepts - 10% Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization. Participates in safety training and demonstrates a high regard for safety at all times. Participates in team meetings and works on cost savings projects. Utilizes lean tools: 6s & visual factory concepts in maintaining order and cleanliness. Works safely and supports safety within their team and across the organization Scheduled Maintenance - 75% Follows all Lockout/Tagout and 70E protocols Completes weekly/monthly maintenance schedule Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned Schedules repairs of equipment with production Performs fabrication, pipe fitting, welding, brazing & soldering as required Operates material handling equipment, scissor lift and boom lift when needed Works on team projects, Six Sigma projects and provides support for other team meetings and projects. Correctly fills out work orders and time sheets Repairs facility equipment including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, grounds. Coordination and scheduling with outside vendors for major facility repairs. Breakdown Maintenance - 15% Follows all Lockout/Tagout and 70E protocols Observes operation of equipment, troubleshoots abnormalities, dismantles equipment to gain access, determines faulty parts, requisitions parts, reassembles equipment, tests and runs out, makes sure equipment is in good, safe working operation and returns it to production. Assists in maintaining repair parts inventory & supplies Communicates pertinent information to supervisor. Trains personnel from other departments to recognize problems and issues with equipment. Education and/or Experience Required - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good trouble shooting skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems for production machinery and support equipment. Able to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic prints Must be computer literate Operate material handling equipment, scissor lift, hoist systems, and boom lift Willingness to attend off-site training for automation equipment as required Preferred- Experienced in welding, fabricating and pipe fitting. Experience with Lean tools Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints Ability to understand ladder logic for relays and PLCs Familiar with Allen Bradley PLCs, SLC, Micro Logix and Control Logix Familiar with Logix 500, Logix 5000 and RSLinx Familiar with operation of HMIs (touch screens) Be able to install and set up AC & DC drives Familiar with NEC as it applies to Industrial applications Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
