Overview: We are looking for an Regional Director of Operational Excellence to join our team supporting our branches throughout Florida. This position will directly report to the Vice President of Operations or designee within a specific state/region and will be the champion of education, training, and delivery of quality. To qualify for this position, you MUST:Be a Registered Nurse (RNHave at least 2 years of recent hospice management experienceReside in FloridaBe open to 50-75% travel throughout Florida Duties:Provide guidance, leadership, and support to regional branches to ensure effective achievement of administrative objectives, orientation, and retentionBe a critical part of branch leader orientationWork side-by-side with the clinical and operational team to promote our hospice services and solidify the highest quality patient careTravel regularly to multiple offices/branches; typically, within a specific state/region Essential Functions of PositionCollaborates with branch leaders on the orientation, mentoring, and other educational activities within their assigned region/area.Uses the results of quarterly on-site audits to plan needed in-services.Assists with monitoring of staff's in-service training hours/educational attendance with regards to regulatory/agency requirements.Acts as resource to assists agencies in meeting and exceeding all applicable regulatory and company requirements, by ensuring the implementation of the company's systems, policies, and standards in readiness preparation for all inspections, surveys, and review, including state licensure, federal certifications, and accreditations.Coordinates with the appropriate corporate staff, Medical Director, Clinical Manager, and Executive Director or Administrator on a regular basisEnsures agency can access updated copies of all applicable regulations, statutes, and policies and procedures.Takes overall responsibility for the clinical services function at the agency including the home, hospital settings, nursing homes, and other locations as requestedParticipates in the coordination of all aspects of the patient's hospice care and in the hospice's quality assessment and performance improvement program.Performs other duties as assigned.
