Friedmans Home Improvement is looking for an Assistant Yard Manager in Sonoma, CA. Family-owned atmosphere and positive culture.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesNo previous hardware store knowledge neededExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Microsoft D365 experience is preferredAbility to lead, develop and grow a teamDevelop and maintain strong cross-functional relationshipsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects and personnel in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and take on a large volume of work in a high growth environmentExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to follow through issues to resolutionEducation and/ExperienceAdvanced education or training from college or university, with 5+ years in a retail environment or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceMinimum mid-level management background with exceptional supervisory skillsKnowledge Skill and AbilitiesExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Microsoft D365 experience is preferredAbility to lead, develop and grow a teamDevelop and maintain strong cross-functional relationshipsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to follow through issues to resolutionLocation/Hours: This is an exempt position located at the Friedman's Home Improvement retail store in Sonoma. Hours are to meet the needs of the retail business, Sunday - Saturday.
