Senior Estimator

Position OverviewWe are a Building Design and Construction top construction company serving clients in Virginia and the Carolinas. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and innovation, we have established a reputation for delivering successful projects across various sectors, including healthcare, multifamily, education, and commercial.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our commercial construction team and contribute to our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to budget constraints and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.Conduct takeoffs and analyze project documents to determine the necessary materials and labor.Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope information.Develop and maintain project budgets, including forecasting for future expenses.Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in project costing.Review and analyze bids from subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.Participate in project scheduling and timeline development to align with construction objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction sector.Strong proficiency in time estimates, project costing, and takeoffs.Experience with Sage Timberline and on-screen takeoff software is preferred.Knowledge of budgeting and subcontractor solicitation processes.Familiarity with multifamily construction projects is a plus.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.BenefitsCompetitive Salary: Up to $150,000.00 BOEMedical/Dental/Vision401k w/ MatchPTO, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick DaysOn-Site Fitness CenterLong and Short Term DisabilityWellness ProgramsEAPTuition ReimbursementLife InsuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
