Project Manager - Steel Erection

Steel Erection Sr. Project ManagerPosition OverviewThe Steel Erection Sr. Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of steel erection projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of steel construction processes, project management principles, and budget oversight to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple steel erection projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.Develop and implement project plans, including crane plans, project schedules, and risk management strategies.Monitor project accounting and financial controls to maintain profitability and compliance with legal and financing requirements.Conduct regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and facilitate team development.Negotiate change orders and manage project valuation to ensure alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.Assess project profitability and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.Provide coaching and mentoring to project team members to enhance skills and performance.Oversee heavy rigging operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the steel erection industry.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and teams.Strong understanding of crane operations and project scheduling techniques.Knowledge of budget monitoring, project accounting, and financial management.Experience in risk management and change order negotiation.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to mentor and develop team members effectively.BenefitsProfit SharingMedical & Dental InsuranceCar Allowance or Vehicle provided PTOCompany Cell Phone & LaptopEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
