Job Title - Senior Turf TechnicianLocation - Market Allentown Pennsylvania (Onsite)Job Type- Full-Time / Direct hirePay Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour - Full-time hourly role with benefitsJob Description - Job ID - 161670Purpose:Independently performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customers, as well as dealer-owned, turf equipment or other work as assigned by Supervisor. Responsibilities:Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on consumer and commercial turf equipment as well as Ag Management Solutions (AMS) productsParticipates in-service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products o Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment o Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all report forms and tasks required in conjunction with work assignments, including researching and requesting parts neededAccounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties according to dealership processes and business systemCommunicates professionally and effectively with manufacturers when neededMaintains 90% or above recovery efficiencyMay perform diagnosis and repair in the field or May provide delivery services when needed o May conduct or support customer clinicsThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employee-inclusiveness will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other leadership as required. Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:5+ years of professional experience performing service repairsAbility to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual proceduresAdvanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipment o Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesProficient oral and written communication skillsAbility to use Service Advisor and basic computer functionsAbility to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedlyHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredAbility to work extended hours and weekends as workload dictatesProvide tools needed to perform job duties ("Specialty tools" are owned and provided by the dealership) o Valid insurable driver's license requiredPay Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour - Full-time hourly role with benefitsThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
