Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trust & Estates Attorney to join our team in our Syracuse, NY office. As a member of our firm you will provide expert legal guidance to clients on estate planning, trusts, and wealth transfer, ensuring that their assets are protected and efficiently managed throughout their lifetime and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills and trusts.Assist clients with asset protection and wealth transfer planning.Draft legal documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.Provide guidance on elder law issues and long-term care planning.Represent clients in estate litigation mattersAssist in business succession planning and charitable gift planning.Collaborate with financial planners for comprehensive retirement planning solutions.Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations to maximize tax efficiencies.Manage guardianship proceedingsQualificationsJuris DoctorActive license to practice in NY3+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates lawStrong understanding of estate planning, elder law, and related legal principles.Proficient in legal research and document drafting.Experience in estate litigation is a plus.BenefitsMedical and dental benefitsLife insurance401(k) with a 3% safe harbor contributionEmployee Assistance ProgramFlex Spending AccountsCompetitive time-off and vacation packageEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
