Property Damage Attorney (1-3 Years Experience in First-Party Property)Location: Tampa, FL, this is an onsite positionMust be physically located in or near Tampa.Must be Florida-barredAn AV-rated insurance defense firm in the Tampa area is seeking a skilled Property Damage Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in first-party property insurance defense to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Handle first-party property damage cases, including coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and strategic defense planning.Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and reports to insurance carriers.Conduct depositions, interviews with experts, and court appearances for hearings, motions, and conferences.Utilize Westlaw for in-depth legal research to support case development and strategy.Engage with clients and carriers to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.Requirements:Active Florida Bar Membership.1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a strong preference for first-party property damage cases.Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases, manage discovery, and conduct depositions effectively.Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and case management.We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.
