Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centres - Raleigh, NC, USA Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Raleigh on a permanent contract.Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. With growth plans to almost double their already huge turnover, there could not be a better time to join!ResponsibilitiesPerforms engineering tasks for the design of electrical systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilities Prepares electrical engineering calculations in support of electrical system designs including, electrical equipment sizing, feeder sizing and equipment selection Plans and schedules discipline deliverables and activities including man-hour estimation, assigning personnel, and supervision of discipline personnel on the Projects Supports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant Develops manpower and labour cost requirements for a project and monitor them to aid in evaluating project schedule and budget Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team Develops of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of power diagrams, layout of electric equipment, electrical system control and the like RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required Professional Engineer (PE) License required Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred 10+ years of experience Advanced Technology experience preferred Consulting engineering experience Experience working within a team environment Experience in the quality control review process Experience contributing to continuous improvement processes Experience leading a team Thorough knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems Good time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details Good verbal and written communication skills If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
