Job DescriptionGeneral Job Description:This position is responsible for independently delivering engineering services, with a proven track record of excellence from conceptual design through construction completion.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExpert in project planning, coordination, and execution Independently complete conceptual design through construction drawing development for large complex project or multiple projects simultaneouslyAppropriate engagement of engineering applications and/or managers in project decisionsProactively communicate and coordinate project designs with Project Management, Construction and Service departments, Controls, and other trade partners Field engineering: assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving/troubleshooting, as requiredEffectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team membersExpert level understanding of building codes, structural guidelines, and best practicesManage time to meet project schedules and task deadlinesExcellent understanding of ACCO engineering standards and project execution processesEquipment anchorage calculations and PE wet stamped installation package including BOMEquipment vibration isolation calculations and PE wet stamped installation package including BOMDesign roof top duct and pipe supports, and PE stamped installation package including BOMRiser duct and pipe supports, and PE stamped installation packageSeismic restraint calculations for duct and pipeRoof structure verification of existing structures for equipment replacementStructural design of equipment skidsDesign of supplemental steel for equipment, duct or pipe supports including BOMCreate templates and standard designs for supports, attachments and seismic bracing that creates an economy of scale that is cost effective to install and buildOther duties as assigned by ManagerPosition RequirementsBS in Structural or Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer license highly desirable, but not required. Work hours are as established by the local manager and generally begin and end between 7:00 am to 8:00 am start and 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm end, with one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.Competitive Wages$56.07 to $72.78 per hour.
