Location: Remote (California)Salary: $175,00 - $250,000 DOERequired Skills: 3+ years of first chair trial experience with an emphasis on Personal InjuryPosition Overview: A Trial Attorney is a legal professional who specializes in representing clients in court trials. They are responsible for handling all aspects of a trial, from the initial preparation to presenting arguments and evidence in front of a jury. The primary goal of a Trial Attorney is to advocate for their client and achieve a favorable outcome in the case.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research and investigation to build a strong case for the clientPrepare legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and pleadingsInterview witnesses and gather evidence to support the caseRepresent clients in pre-trial hearings and negotiationsArgue motions and objections in courtPresent opening and closing statements to the juryCross-examine witnesses and present evidence to support the client's caseCollaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to prepare for trialStay updated on relevant laws and regulationsNegotiate settlements or participate in alternative dispute resolution methods, if necessaryMaintain accurate and organized case filesQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the stateExperience in handling personal injury casesProven track record of successfully representing clients in court trialsStrong understanding of trial procedures and rules of evidenceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConfidence and ability to think quickly on their feetStrong negotiation and persuasion skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
