Fire Alarm TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire protection principles and experience with a variety of fire alarm systems and special hazards. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.Perform regular maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire alarm systems.Document all service calls and repairs thoroughly.Work closely with clients to explain system operations and maintenance requirements.Provide training to clients on fire safety and alarm systems if needed.Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and regulations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.Possession of a FAST (Fire Alarm Systems Technician) License is preferred.Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, special hazards, and fire protection principles.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BenefitsCompany Vehicle + Gas Card401KPTO/Sick/VacationPaid HolidaysMedicalDentalVisionEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
