We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Tax Managers & Senior Tax Managers to manage tax engagements, deliver high quality tax services to our clients and help develop other members of the firm. The position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement.Tax Manager Job description:Review federal and state income taxes for Individual, Partnership, Corporate and Trust tax returnsBuild new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client industriesPrepare internal memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS, Treasury Department, or other taxing authoritiesProvide technical trainingParticipate in staff mentorship programManage performance and development of staff membersManage multiple clients, budgets and productivity goalsPractice developmentQualified candidates will possess the following:CPA certificationMaster's Degree in Taxation a plus6 or more years recent experience in public accounting with a national, large regional or technically proficient local firmAt least 2 years of supervisory experienceHigh level of technical proficiency in corporate, partnership, and individual returnsStrong accounting and analytical skillsStrong computer skills: experience with ProSystem Tax a plusExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to multi-taskOur benefits include:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, life, long-term disability insurance401(k) planNew business and employee referral bonusesProfessional duesContinuing educationFree parkingTax Manager Annual base pay: $100,000 - $150,000 plus bonus up to 25%NOTICE TO THIRD PARTY AGENCIES:LLME does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters, employment agencies, or other staffing services.
