Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Manager at MI Tax CPA in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing client's financial statements, tax planning, tax preparation and other engagements. They will also collaborate and provide advice and support to our clients as well as internal team members.ResponsibilitiesManage tax return preparation and review for individuals, Partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, Trust/Estate, Michigan sales tax and excise tax filings.Supervise in the preparation and review of financial statements and monthly bookkeeping processes.Provide tax advisory strategies and accounting advisory services for our clients, research tax topics, and solve issues for our clients.Manage client expectations and relationships.Training and mentoring of employees.Maintain the highest level of integrity, ethics and confidentiality.QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license5 years public accounting experienceStrong knowledge of tax regulations and lawsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesAttention to detail and organizational skillsStrong experience with Microsoft office products, specifically excelQuickBooks Online experience preferredCCH Axcess Tax software experience preferredOfferingCareer growth opportunities - great culture and work/life balance - Full benefits package
