The Laboratory Department seeks a Technical Specialist to oversee the daily operations of the Core laboratory section to ensure the precision and reproducibility of laboratory testing.In this role, the Technical Specialist (FLOW/CYTO) will oversee the daily operation to ensure the precision and reproducibility of laboratory test results in accordance with accreditation standards and guidelines. This includes waived, moderate, and high complexity testing. MUST have experience and comfortable working in a high-volume lab, working as a team and with complex manual differentials. This position is focused on leading the FLOW Cytometry Team. Must have experience with evaluating peripheral blood, bone marrow, tissue or other body fluid. Here's what you'll needCollaborates with the medical director, manager and faculty in the development of new procedures or programs. Evaluates, validates and implements new instrumentation and procedures. Develops written procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and support new instrumentation and test methodologies. Works with the director to review and revise procedure manuals to ensure test accuracy and regulatory and accreditation requirements.
