Job Title: Associate AttorneyLocation: New York City, NY (Hybrid)Salary: $115k-$175k with up to $45k in bonusesRequirements: 2+ years experience with Personal Injury or Insurance Defense CasesBillables: 1950Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Attorney to join our Personal Injury/Insurance Defense team. The successful candidate will provide legal representation and advice to clients facing personal injury defense cases.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct extensive legal research to find applicable legal precedents and develop case strategies.Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and subpoenas.Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts as part of the investigation into cases.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Provide legal advice and counseling to clients.Conduct 50-h hearingsIdentify and analyze potential legal issues associated with cases.Stay up-to-date on changes in the law to ensure compliance with regulations.Maintain client-attorney privilege and confidentiality of all client information.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission and membership to the State Bar.Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney.Strong knowledge of legal research and writing techniques.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of analytical and problem-solving ability.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
