ResponsibilitiesThe Behavioral Therapist provides interventions to remove psychosocial barriers to health and wellness; collaborates with the primary care team, patient/family and community liaisons to assure patients' psychosocial and socioeconomics needs are addressed wherever possible; participates in monthly staff meetings and physical/behavioral health integration efforts; and may participate in regional human services collaboratives as health center representatives with a focus on improvement of quality of life in the health center service area.QualificationsMasters of Science in Counseling or related fieldValid licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of PennsylvaniaOrganization DescriptionAs a federally qualified health center, NEPA Community Health Care has been serving the rural populations of northeastern Pennsylvania since 1983.
