We pride ourselves on operating as a community-oriented, family-friendly, full-service independent optometric-optical boutique. We are looking for an Optometrist who is an all-around rockstar to join our patient-focused practice on a part-time basis. Full time is possible with the right candidate and as we grow the program together! We are always open to new ideas.With private equity purchasing many practices recently, patients are having a hard time finding that warm patient-focused eye care, in an un-rushed setting. We have a beautiful artistically designed optical & exam lane, great lighting and a ABO-C, NYS Licensed optical team. We are a 20 year old practice that is ready for our new optometrist to practice & grow with. We have a huge book of patients that are eagerly waiting to meet you, and have a fantastic and unique collection of indie eyewear brands. This is a great opportunity to be a great community eye doctor and a huge growth potential.About the Optometrist PositionAs an Optometrist in our practice, your regular duties will include:Perform pre testing & comprehensive eye exams.Contact Lens Fitting and Exams.Refractions.Co-manage with our network of Ophthalmologists.Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients & community.Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress.Handle minor eye care emergencies.Optometrist Job Requirements & QualificationsDoctor of Optometry (O.D.)
