We are seeking individuals who value a strong, long-term cultural fit and are passionate about serving our local clients.Key ObjectivesCandidate will work in all phases of tax planning, tax preparation, review, compliance, and researchStrong experience using tax software with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks preferredDemonstrate knowledge of prevailing tax laws and developmentsAbility to apply knowledge of current issues in tax, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific concerns to clients and be able to identify where they may impact a client and recommend strategiesBe proficient in the preparation of various tax returns, including, but not limited to: Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and MultistateRequirementsBachelor's degree in accountingCPA or IRS Enrolled Agent (Preferred)At least 5-7 years of experience in a CPA firm with 2 years of supervisory experienceExperience using UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (Preferred)Assume responsibility for planning, supervising, and completing engagementsPlan the timing and assigning of staff to engagementsReview engagement work papers, resolve any problems, and keep the partner informed of all important developments in the engagementSupervise staff accountants, provide feedback to them, and evaluate their progress Benefits401(k) Dental insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
