Our client, a global leader in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, is seeking an Energy & Utilities Procurement & Sourcing Contractor to join their team. As part of the Global Supplier Management Group supporting the Energy & Renewable Energy Team, the ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and exceptional project management expertise, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving impactful procurement strategies. Job Posting: Energy & Utilities Procurement & Sourcing - Contractor Duration: 12-Month Contract Location: Onsite - Rahway, NJ Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities: Partner with stakeholders and global teams to shape and implement sourcing strategies for the energy and renewable energy category. Manage category compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project execution, including RFI/RFP, e-sourcing, supplier onboarding, and contracting. Lead supplier performance management, ensure timely contract storage, and align with procurement processes. Conduct data analysis to support strategy development, cost containment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with centralized teams to ensure compliance and enhance access to data insights via dashboards. Drive sustainability and diversity goals while supporting business continuity and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction. Facilitate communication and progress meetings with stakeholders and external partners. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field with 5+ years in a regional procurement role. Expertise in Energy & Utilities procurement, including category strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and market analysis. Proficient in Ariba tools (sourcing, contracting, vendor data) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proven ability to manage stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and balance competing priorities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels. Experience in developing sourcing strategies and driving negotiations successfully. Self-starter with adaptability, attention to detail, and multitasking ability in dynamic environments. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with conducting business reviews and creating communication plans. Success in achieving sustainability and diversity procurement goals.
