HOW A SPECIALIZED CUSTOMER SUPPORT ASSISTANT II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:The SCS would arrange VTCs and conference rooms, set up interagency meetings, arrange for transportation and passing of clearances for external meetings, and coordinate with special assistants around the Sponsor's Organization, to include the most Senior Level OfficesThe SCS would handle calendars for our three principals as well as meetings for the Unit's staffEach principal has an average of 4 meetings per day (often all together)The group has 3 staff meetings per weekBack up responsibilities would include support for the Office sharing the vault, and especially the department chief, who has a very dynamic calendarIn addition to helping the Chief of the co-located unit with meeting scheduling, there is, on average, one White House VTC per week that requires finding a conference room and coordinating the connection with the Sponsor's Video Conferencing groupThis Office's managers and officers usually have several conference room booking requests per dayThe SCS would handle calendars for the Office's three principals as well as meetings for its staffThe SCS would assist with the office's daily administrative and operational requirements -- ensuring IT equipment is functioning, monitoring office space and assignments, onboarding/offboarding staff and contractors (System Access requests, seating charts, org charts, and vault accesses), and monitoring and ordering supplies. The Office the SCS will be primarily supporting is a fairly small unit but expects to onboard multiple people in the near term and will have some staff and contractor turnoverThe selectee would handle vault access, e-mail and shared drive access, org charts, and seating plans and ensure efficient updates for arrivals and departuresShe or he would provide backup admin assistance the other Office on these same tasksThe SCS will be asked to arrange travel approximately 4 times per year for the Chiefs and Deputies for both the primary office as well as the one co-located with themThis will include checking schedules, arranging airline flights, filling out and submitting visas, coordinating medical clearance updates, processing travel requirements (to include managing and submitting accountings), and drafting related communicationsThis position might entail tracking some taskings/actionsThere will be opportunities to help organize all-hands meetings, award ceremonies, and networking events with the other unit in the vaultNone of these would be large or formal eventsThe SCS will help manage Office's record keeping system and help track taskingsAs this Office shares a vault with a larger unit, the selected SCS would be expected to work closely with the other Office's support officer in coordinating issues such as space and vault maintenance, and serving as a back-up for that officer and for their special assistant cadre (as noted in other sections).WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.HS Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceThis is a full-time position working a standard work schedule; given the group's highly dynamic scheduling, we would need arrival NL T 0900 and departure no earlier than 1600Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointThe position is on customer siteGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #OpportunityOwned#GDITCareers#WeAreGDIT#IntelAdminJobs#Jet#CJPost#EAPolyReferrals2023 #AdminPoly2023 The likely salary range for this position is $107,432 - $152,909. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
